The health and well-being of children involves both understanding and addressing numerous outcomes of their physical, mental, social, and economic development. Issues related to physical and mental health and development include: child abuse and neglect; bullying, violence, and trauma; child poverty and homelessness; socioeconomic disparities. All of these must be addressed by our community.
